Foley has long been associated with Hollywood but it is now equally important in games. In contrast to code-based sound design Foley comes into its own for critical game audio and in-game cinematics where the overall feel of the soundtrack is critical to the onscreen action. At Streamline Sound we often use Foley techniques in combination with our ‘standard’ sound design processes to create the highest possible quality end products for our clients.
